Mitchell in Mideast trying to jump-start peace talks

George Mitchell, President Obama’s special envoy to the Middle East, was in the region on Thursday, in a bid to get Israelis and Palestinians back to the negotiating table. He planned to spend three days in Jerusalem and Ramallah, a Palestinian city in the West Bank.
